Resignation of a FIFe Judge

Mrs. Sabine Mösch (CH), All Breed FIFe Judge from Switzerland, decided to tender her resignation as a FIFe Judge effective immediately. The Board wishes her all the best for her future endeavours.

Breeding & Registration Statistics 2023

The form to be used by our Members to report their 2023 breeding & registration statistics can be found and downloaded in the section Rules & Forms, under the header "Forms". We kindly ask our Members to send their statistics at the latest on the 31st January 2024 to the General Secretary.

Judges activities in 2023

We kindly request our judges to send in the Judges Yearly Activities form for the year 2023 at the latest on the 30th November. Please use the form which is available for downloading in the section Rules & Forms (scroll to the bottom of the page in that section). For your and our convenience, the form can be filled in electronically and subsequently be saved and send by e-mail to the FIFe General Secretary.

New ages valid for show classes per 01.01.2024

As from the above date the ages valid for classes 9 – 12 will be as follows:
● class 12: 4 – 8 months (was 4 – 7 months)
● class 11: 8 – 12 months (was 7 – 10 months)
● class 9 or 10: 12 months and older (was 10 months and older).

As always, cats must be entered in show classes by age and judged by age as valid for the class. This means that as from 01.01.2024:
● cats, not yet 8 months must be entered in class 12
● cats, not yet 12 months must be entered in class 11
● cats, which already obtained certificates in class 9 or higher prior to 01.01.2024, will keep these certificates (and other awards achieved) and must be entered in accordance with the new age classification valid as from 01.01.2024.

As a consequence of the age change for classes 9 and 10:
● class 13a (Novice class): 12 months or older
● class 14 (House cats): unneutered house cats aged 12 months or older are not admitted to shows
● table of disqualifying and general faults – faults 1.7, 1.8, 1.9 and 7.2: age changed to 12 months.

  • Mrs. Arja Martikainen (FI) passed the judges exam in category 2 at the show in Turku (FI) on the 25th November 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 2.
  • Mr. Joeri Vanrusselt (BE) passed the judges exam in category 2 at the show in Beverwijk (NL) on the 11th November 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 2.
  • Mrs. Caroline Stoa (NO) passed the judges exam in category 3 at the show in Nedre Glomma (NO) on the 21st October 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 3 and a FIFe All Breed Judge.
  • Mrs. Sanna Hietala (FI) passed the judges exam in category 1 at the show in Riihimäki (FI) on the 21st October 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 1.
  • Bobby Funk (DE) passed the judges exam in breed group D at the show in Helsinki (FI) on the 16th September 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 4.
  • Mrs. Ilona Senderek-Wójcik (PL) passed the required stage at the show in Schiedam (NL) on the 10th September 2023 and is as of that date appointed an International Judge for category 2.
  • Mrs. Belina Muicey (AR) passed the judges exam in category 2 at the show in Schiedam (NL) on the 9th September 2023 and is now a probational judge in that category.
  • Mrs. Magdalena Kudra (PL) passed the judges exam in breed group D at the show in Schiedam (NL) on the 9th September 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 4 and a FIFe All Breed Judge.
  • Mrs. Dorota Szadurska (PL) passed the judges exam in category 1 at the show in Warszawa (PL) on the 9th September 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 1 and a FIFe All Breed Judge.
  • Mrs. Ietje Röhr-Dubbeld (NL) passed the judges exam in breed group A at the show in Eskilstuna (SE) on the 2nd September 2023 and is as from that date appointed an International Judge for category 1.
